Mobo, RAM, CPU setup

Hi, I'm going to be upgrading and I want your views and opinions in what Im planning on getting. Here we go:

All seem to have good reviews. But I hope some opinions would help me more.

These components will compliment a 8800GT and I have a 600W PSU. I am looking to be able to play some modern games quiet comfortably.

everyone seems to go for the e6600. I dunno about that motherboard. Seems really cheap.

Exactly... alotta people get tricked... Just get the E6750 and brag how it's cheaper and faster

CPU: E6750/ Q6600

RAM: Go for DDR2 800, OC yourself. DDR2 8500 is double the price, not worth.

Motherboard: personally prefer GA-P35-DS3P/MSI Platinum than Asus. But the Asus you chose is fine.

None going for e6600. Most people go for Q6600

I don't know the price of the E6850 in America(or where ever you are) but here, the price of a Q6600 is the same as a E6850 and the E6850 is mostly better then the Q6600. The E6850 is most of the time in the top 5 at the bench's and often in the top 3.

Sounds like whoever you've learned stuff from is a fake. The Q6600 is way better and more futureproof. I'm guessing they don't utilize all 4 cores.
