Here's the deal. I'm not the best when it comes to picking out parts, etc. But I can make my way around alright. Can someone here please let me know if all this looks compatible? I know my ram and cpu are ok. Also, will this let me use a regular IDE 80gb barracuda 7200 HD? Thanks in advance.

Yes they will all work together just fine.I suggest a better motherboard though,2 slots for ram isn't very good, try finding one with 4.

+ There are many bad reviews, stay clear of the mobo

Bit more, but you get 4 slots for ram,its the same socket you seem to need,it supports SLI,has a few bad reviews too,but it doesnt seem that any of the Socket T (LGA 775) have good reviews. With SLI,you can buy a 2nd card later on and SLI them to get better performance, and this way,you also can expand the amount of ram you have in your computer with 4 slots supporting dual channel.

Overall, this mobo i posted is a great mobo for future upgrades that you may want to do compared to the other.

EDIT:They could be fine, but you never know when you might want more eh?
EDIT2: Pentium Processor Extreme Edition / Pentium 4 / Celeron CPU
Mobo also supports better processors for future upgrades.Better FSB too.

I,m not much at intel boards but that one does just have so-so reviews and yea 4 dimms slots would be a better. Not to say 2gb is not enough now!

That looks like a good board. but I need 184 pin ram slots to fit my existing sticks. My choices are a bit limited.. Last thing. I've also found a few other boards, but they have integrated ATI video cards (ATI chipsets). I doubt the nvidia card would work with them?

Thanks a lot for the replies.

edit: placed the order from newegg on the motherboard I first mentioned.
