How do you install your vid card on a mobo with no integrated graphics, dont you have to install your card from windows??? how are you going to do this without connecting the monitor to the mobo (vga)?? or do you just add the vid card (i have a 7600GT) and the mobo will recognize it by itself...

In other words how do you install your video drivers on a non-integrated video mobo???

The video card will still display an image for you when you install it, but you'll need to install the drivers for it to actually play games without any massive errors/problems.

Just install the video card, connect the monitor to it, turn on your computer, proceed to install drivers.

when you install any operating system, it loads generic drivers to support most hardware... but like the above post, you will want to install you video card's real drivers ASAP to get the most outta it...

Well, to be more precise, once you insert your card and make sure its well seated, it will display an image. That's how it's working. The drivers are there for the card to deploy it full capabilities.
