Mod my case?

Do you guys think that modding an "Off the shelf Pc" like Hps or E-machines computers just look stupid?

I would like to cut out the side panel on my case to put in a window because i realy like them and the standard Hp case ive got looks boring now:D

Heres an example of what i mean...(Hope you dont mind me posting your pc kobaj:o ?)

I believe this post should go in the "Computer Case" section. But hey that's a moderator's job.

Anyways, I think that would look pretty cool! Frankly, I think Emachine cases are actually half decent in design. Oh yeah, make sure you mod a fanport into the side, or atleast some vents, as emachine cases have bad ventilations.

Hi,

Yeah sorry mods if ive posted in the wrong place:o ,

My case does have quite good ventilation,My systems always cool.

I was thinking about just adding a side window,Dont realy need any more fans.

Hehe, I remember that case. (its been a year since then I think) It was acctualy a really good case. Nice and sturdy, never overheated, and easy to cut. It was surprisingly better than the case I have now, but i got rid of it. If you want to see my brothers (almost exactly the same), here you go.

If you want some great resources for mod ideas, how to cut your own window, etc. Then I suggest this site.

Really? My emachine overheated like crazy :eek: But then again it was a prescott celeron :rolleyes: Anyways, make sure to add a cathode tube to it, it'll make the interior look alot nicer.

My systems not E-achines,Its a Hp bro.

I said in my post above that i have a Hp but i was showing kobajs computer as what i want it to look like for a example.:)

Thanks for that link,I dont know if i should just cut a simple square window or add a shape:confused: :D

Btw...I like your new case:)Did you do the switches yourself?

Well... if you think it looks cool, go for it :) I mean, its not like you should be bothered by what other people think of it,.. oppinions about it will differ anyway :o
some people think my pc looks like a wussie (looks gay) and others think it looks nice. my point? just make the pc look like you like it, thats all that matters :)
 
My mom has the same computer case as you do Neva. I think it would look nice. Side windows are very attractive, If I was into modding, I would do the same thing to my dell..If there is a way, I know they make strange cases.

You sure?? Because my parents, too, have that type of compy and the only vent holes are in an area of 1X2-ish near the top of the case.....
