Modem dial-up box keeps popping up. How do I get it to stop?

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a BlackBerry phone that can tether to my laptop. While this works just fine, I've found that the modem dial-up box keeps popping up periodically. Is there a way to tell Windows to not show this box every time it detects a brief drop in my existing Time Warner WiFi connection? It's getting really annoying. :-(

Any help would be appreciated! I've been searching the net and can't find an answer.

Go to control panel>network connections>look for dial up connections>right click and then disable

Don't have the option to disable. :-( Only have an option to connect.

Control Panel>Internet Options>Connections tab and click on never dial a connection.

Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for! I had always been looking for it under the dial-up properties and not general internet options.
