Modem PC Card problem

I recently just obtained several 3Com V.90 PC Card Modems with XJACK Connector. When I placed one in my laptop and found the appropriate driver I couldn't get it to work. It says that it has a Code 10 in the device manager. I manually set its IRQ and Memory Range, but it still won't start. Has anyone else run into a similar problem? Better question, does anyone know how to fix it?

hey let me know what operating system you use in your case..It is licence version or pirated. Then I understand what's ur actually problem in your systems you got it....
