modern warfare 2 player profile

ive got a problem, because i had to reinstall windows ive lost my player profile ie all my saved levels but i copied them to my external HD and then i re-put them back in the c\modern warfare 2 folder, can anyone help me please
 
when i deleted windows before i copied the save folder under the players folder and i put the save folder back in the players folder when i reinstalled windows, help???????????
 
MW2 isn't like CoD4, your profile is't stored on your computer, that is only for single player, spec ops and for tracking who to log in as as default.

MW2 is like Waw, your profile is stored on the IW servers and whenever you rewinstall you have a 50/50 chance of keeping your profile, how it works with you keeping it, idk, but sometimes it recognises who you are sometimes it doesn't, it is how it was in WaW, it is how it is in MW2
 
no im talking about ive lost my single players saved data?!?, i thought i copied the right data over but obviosly not, any help?!?
 
have you tried copying the data over again?

Or, you can make a new profile with the name and everything the same and you should be able to copy over the contents of the folder, rather than merging the player folder
