Modern Warfare 2

This game is gonna be badass.

-There is a 2 Person Co-Op Game mode playable online or on a LAN called Special Ops Mode... You will be able to play the Campaign through in single player or with a friend in Co-Op
-MW2 Single player picks up from where CoD4 Left us on the Bridge at the end.
-You will play as a new recruit of 'TASKFORCE 141' an Elite special ops unit made up from Various armed forces with the sole purpose of hunting doen terrorist groups. Your Commanding officer will be Cpt "SOAP" McTavish (The Guy you played as in CoD4)
-There are whole new asspects to the game play including using a multitude of skills including Climbing and Scuba Diving Levels!!!
-There is a Map set in an aircraft graveyard and a few Urban Combat maps in the MP!!!
-There are a couple of Stealth type missions similar in style to the Pyripyt Sniper Level in CoD4
-The Game is described as similar in some ways but Far Far superiour in so many others, from the High Quality Graphics (Brand New Graphics Engine) with incredible Snow, Rain, Water, Lighting and Explosions/Fire
-The Game play is described as Tactical and Elegant with the Voice Acting and scripting of the cutscenes being described as 'Utter Genuis'. The Visuals described as 'A smooth flowing and organic experiance where you cant see ANY joins'
-There are NO ficticuous countrys in MW2 the missions and maps are set in real countrys including Russia, Afganistan, Rio and a 'To be revield asian/african jungle'ish level/set of maps!!!
-Some of the maps and levels in SP/Co-Op and MP are absolutly VAST with massive structures and all kinds of routes
-There are varing weather effects that will be randomised just like in S.T.A.L.K.E.R that will effect your gameplay and the best way to compleate missions
-There is a Body Slam melee atack available AS WELL as the normal knive attack so combo's will be an effective way of killing silently without alerting nearby targets or showing up on UAV (in MP)
-The Body armour and uniforms are customisable
-Shields are availble but will take up a weapon slot and perk slot and only single handed weapons (ie Pistols and Small SMG's) can be used with them
-Some Of the Missions will have civilians as well as Targets so you have to distinguish between them, also when you start shooting wildly the civies will start panicing and running around making them harder to miss!!!
-One of the maps is set in a dense Russian Pine Forest with cable cars overhead and plenty of sniper holes and shacks
-One of the available perks will be laser Guided self firing turrets (Like the ones in HL2) that you can set up in alley ways and buildings then leave to do the killing for you, these have to be disabled by destroying them with gun fire, Frags or flanking them and using C4#
-High Ranking UK/US and Russian Special forces Officers have been used thoughout the development to advise on all aspects of the game from weapon tech and Uniforms/armour to Tactics and Mission design
-Weapons WILL DEFINATLY come with many more possible attachments and the use of multiple attachments on the MP game!!!
-There is AT LEAST one underwater mission and MP map!!!!
-The Physics in the Game is far superiour to what we ahve seen in PC gaming to date!!!
-There Will be Dogs in Single and Multi player games
-The Single player campaign is longer than CoD4's
-There is a new MP game type where you have to hunt a single player and his team have to protect him.
-There are realisic fire/splodes with things like ignitable fuel pumps which when set on fire will send their hoses cartwheeling round spraying fire and giving damage!
-There Are some kind of portable LMG's that can be moved then fixed down for more accuarte firing
-ALL REVIEWERS AND PPL WHO HAVE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO SEE THIS GAME HAVE DESCRIBED IT AS BEING GROUNDBREAKING AND PROB THE BIGGEST GAME OF THE DECADE (So Far Not a single Negative point has been bought up!!!)

-There is a 2 Person Co-Op Game mode playable online or on a LAN called Special Ops Mode... You will be able to play the Campaign through in single player or with a friend in Co-Op

OMG OMG OMG OMFG :eek::eek::eek::D:D:D:D:D in the words of Lord Clarkson, SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Sigh*

This game is basically one poor decision after another.

nah i think it was a good thing that they didn't give out a demo or beta.

If they had dedi servers and the hype was still here then lack of demo keeps it exciting and keeps you guessing. Once you know what gameplay is like some of that rush and excitement of waiting and anticipation goes

Except the anticipation costs $50, and in the event of a colossal failure, the anticipation cant be returned for your money back.

Games NEED demos. If return policies were more lax than they are, I might say demos aren't necessary, but when my purchase is set in stone the second I hand the money over, I need a bit more certainty in my mind before buying a game. And I don't just mean certainty about the game being fun, but more about the game actually working in the first place.

PCs aren't consoles. Not every game will work on every system. Consoles don't need demos, computer games do.

Urghhhh!

I dont know what to do about my Pre-order! Looks like they wont be changing their minds over the servers thing....i dont want to get cod:mw2 and not be able to play online half the time like in Left 4 dead

Might look into the new BF.

i think that the servers will be alright even though they arent changing them because they aren't terrible in cod 4
