Why does everyone say it "plays" faster than Black Ops? What does that even mean? Both games are super quick. Do they mean actual movement speed? Rounds per second (bullets)?

I imagine they mean, the pace is faster. I haven't played yet, but I'll assume the maps are smaller, with more direct and quicker paths to the enemy. Possibly more players?? Don't know that one. But it just means you see more action at a time and usually the games end sooner. Haha. I'm not the most qualified to answer.
From what most people i know say, it is a fast pace game. Campaign wise, it's more of a "go go go" pace through the levels. Unlike Black Ops where you had majority of the levels where you had time to think and move. As for the multiplayer maps, apparently they are larger in size, so a person will find themselves running more often to get to sites of action. All together it feels (the player that is) like a faster pace game.

nope, maps are huge, no good 1v1 maps ether..

really, so you're one of those 1v1 types.......
the map mission seems to be the best for that, also good for tdm if you have a shotgun just tare up in between those houses coz turn a corner and shoot, lol

that wasn't a good thing, i hate it when people, especially little kids start yelling their awsome and rape and all and start saying to 1v1 them to see who's better, after the past 5 matches they've gone straight negative, while i'm siting there f'ing 3.0 k/d average for those games (wasn't doing good for a while so it's only a 1.2/3 now)

Really, you care about K/D?
K/D Isn't exactly an accurate measure of skill in my opinion, and I don't see why it should be treated as one.

i know plenty of people who have bad k/d's but are good at the game, it depends on their play style, some people go for objectives, i go for keeping them from getting on the objectives, they can't when their dead now can they. but i just want to add in that my bro's is i think 3. something, might have dropped cuz he started going for tomahawks and ballistic knives and it dropped.

No, on MW2 it hovers around 2.3, and on BC2 it hovers around .9 - 1.3.
Reason I believe what I do is because I like to mess around a lot, and just have fun. My BC2 KDR is so low because I used to be the kind of player who sits in vehicles and messes around the whole time. Your KDR can't be an accurate measurement of your skill if you mess around, obviously.
