Anyone playing Monday Night Combat (downloadable through the XBox Live Arcade)? It's 6v6 multiplayer game somewhat similar to TF2 on the surface, but really quite different. It has some glitches that are supposed to be fixed in an upcoming patch, but right now it's still an excellent online game if you like competitive team multiplayer.

Anyway, if anyone wants to check it out, it's only 1200 Microsoft points ($15), and the free trial lets you play it unrestricted for 30 minutes. If you do, my gamertag is the same as my screen name.

On the exterior, yeah, but it's really not. It only similarity is that you have different classes to chose form that have different strength/weaknesses and are better at playing different roles on a team. The similarities end there as this game incorporates a system where each class has rechargeable "skills" (special moves) that can be upgraded through the course of the game. It also has NPC "bots" that fight for their side, turret building/upgrading, customizable classes, and more.

If you like TF2, you'll probably like this game because they both have a more fast paced somewhat chaotic game play, but they aren't the same game. Monday Night Combat is like third person shooter meets tower defense.
