Monitor colous have gone wonky!

I get home from school and turn on my computer and all of a sudden the desktop instead of being black is a slight green and all the colors are wrong!

Any advice?
 
Check the monitor connection in the back of the pc. A loose monitor cable could produce those symptoms. Apart from that, is the screen an LCD or a CRT? You could try an auto tune, but that's a long shot.
 
Maybe its just dying..........Maybe not a dead pixel, but one suffering. Waiting, for the sweat presence of death. Not being able to bear the pain! Screaming this, odd greenish color you speak of, perhaps in a last attempt of life! HELP! they say, HELP! only to find out too late. Its gone, their chance at life again, PARISHED! Gone, in the abysmal void, never to be seen again. Those soles, those poor poor lost pixelly souls... :(

............ this happens with my monitor all the time cept mine turns a pinkish color. What you gotta do is play with the cable that plugs into your vid card, pull it tight, wrap it around somethin, stuff like that.. watch the screen while doin this. when you get it into the right position you gotta find a way to keep it there.. it sounds stupid but it works with me.
