Monitor Comparsion

Both look essentially the same. Same res, same contrast ratio, same resolution, same viewing angles (well very close). I too would probably go with the Acer simply because it's larger, but either would be pretty much the same.
 
The Acer monitor is larger and seems to have a better contrast ratio. While on the other hand, I heard Asus monitor has better quality.

I do not suggest basing your decisions on dynamic contrast ratios but actual static ratios. Both monitors are probably 1000:1 static.
 
Do you guys think I made a mistake for going for the 23inches monitor? It is HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEE comparing to my current 17inches monitor. It just arrived at my door today. Maybe I should refund it and pay for $25 restocking fee and shipping.

I was hesitant getting my Acer 22", but once I got it I regret hesitating. The quality is absolutely amazing. I'm comparing this to about a $230 Samsung monitor my brother has. You can't go wrong going with Acer. (I got mine on sale for $140 :) ) If I was you, I'd wait a few more weeks for Black Friday, you might find an insane deal on a monitor on Newegg.com..
