I have a Windows 7 64bit OS running on an HP Desktop PC.
After I did a Windows update and rebooted, the monitor is displaying symbols instead of readable text (like triangles, smiley faces, squares, etc....)
I am at the point where I tried reinstalling Windows 7 back onto the hard drive, but the Windows 7 disk said I couldn't install Windows 7 onto the hard drive. I tried deleting any partitions first then installing and still it tells me that I can't install Windows 7 into the hard drive.
Is the hard drive bad
