Monitor for console use?

Im looking at getting a computer monitor to use with my play station 3.
i do not want to spend over $300. i was looking at the AOC2436Vwh. It would need HDMI for the ps3, and i would also like to be able to plug in a headset. I may also use it with a laptop through the basic analog connection.

what would you recommend?

i see that that monitor sometimes has ghosting issues? are they that big of a deal?

also how would i go about plugging in a headset when running on the ps3?

This is also a very nice monitor. It's $299 ( under $300 ) but i think you might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere. I currently have this one and everything so far is perfect on it. It has excellent picture quality.

all look very nice.. the Asus VE248H looks very appealing.

anyone have one and can comment on the ghosting?

They are all LCD monitors. LED is just new technology that makes the screen brighter than a non LED monitor and if i'm not mistaken uses less power. Correct me on that if i'm wrong.

And LED back lit screens don't become dimmer over time ( or at least not as quickly as regular CFL backlit ones.)
