monitor installation

hi, i have a benq FP71E monitor that i'm trying to install. In my XP when go to display properties as per the manual and go to settings > advance > monitor > the properties button is disabled!!!!!! i need it clickable in order to install the driver for this monitor..i cant seem to change resolutions until its installed..please help!
 
you may have been here but this is the link for the drivers.

if you mean in order to install the driver you need to go to
start>control panel>printers and other harware>(top left corner)add hardware>
follow instructions and when it asks to specify a location direct it to the file you've downloaded. tell me if it works via privete message.
