Monitor problem.....i think

starting yesterday my computer monitor started acting funky. there is lines all over my screen when i open something. like when i open a window, there is a ghost image of the window all the way across the screen when not maximized. what going on? an old monitor or something on my pc

how old is the monitor, i would guess that yes it is the monitor about to die on you, but also, try reinstalling the graphics drivers, see f it helps. if it doesnt then i think you need to bbuy a new screen.

Try changing the refresh rate in display properties. Also try degausing the monitor.
