Monitor Problems!!!

Just bought 17" tft monitor.Why do some web pages only display in the middle and some fill the whole screen.I have upgraded from 14"crt.I have changed all the resolution settings.The computer forum website is ok and fills the whole screen.

Probably that sites are designed to be viewed on 800 x 600 resolution. The Computer Forum fills the screen because it stretches to fill the entire browser window.
Give us some examples of sites that display only in the middle of the screen.

It's perfectly normal at higher resolutions (the screenshot was taken at 1600 x 1200).
