Ok down to the monitor and im done! 
The question i have (because the only thing ive had was a cheap 19") is should i get a REALLY good 22" or a mid quality 24" monitor? If I get a 22" i was looking at Envision G2219W1 or Dell SP2208WFP but the one prob i've noticed is that with 22" any high def content has to be scaled... however there is a huge price jump from 22" to 24" b/c i would like to keep this monitor for many many years i don't like the idea of settling for a cheapy and being miserable for half a decade.
If i go 24" (which i prob will) im looking at Samsung 245t but the price makes me sad.
So my question to you is: Is it better to just go for the 24"? and What is a good-great 24" under 600. Thanks.
