Monitor recommendation?

Okay, so I'm gonna start my architecture school in a couple of months. I'll be doing Autocad, 3DS Max, some photography and graphic design, and some gaming. I'm looking for a good monitor for such purpose, but not too high end since I'm not a professional. I understand that IPS screen are better suited for this? I'm also looking to have dual screen setup. Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks! :)

Dell UltraSharps are definitely great bang for your buck :good: I own the Dell UltraSharp U2312HM myself.

Any idea how bad the ghosting is for gaming? I don't see myself playing a lot of game in college, being architecture school and all, but I'd still like to play the upcoming AAA titles like Watch Dogs and Dragon Age.

That's the same monitor I have. It's perfectly fine for gaming. You don't notice any ghosting.

I'm considering this because I just realised Singapore doesn't sell the 23" version of the Dell Ultrasharp, only the 24", which is $100+ more than the 23" version.

ASUS makes nice displays as well. Don't know about the quality of their IPS panels though.
