Monitor Tint Problem

Hiya peeps.

I have a Sharp LL-T17A3-B LCD monitor. I had it for a couple of years now and just recently it started having this moments when the screen would flicker to a blue tint and then go back to normal. Sometimes, it would stay that tint and hitting the monitor would return it back to normal.

Any idea what's going on and how to fix it?

Help would be appreciated a lot!
 
Okay. First thing that comes to my mind is a broken, loose or intermittent wire in your video cable. Perhaps a pin is loose or bent. It's also possible some control circuit inside is dying, shutting off other colors or intermittently boosting blue. If replacing/checking the cable doesn't fix it, then it's time to look into a new monitor. It'd be cheaper to buy new than fix the old one.
