Monitor Upgrade

I currently have a Dell monitor that came with my Dimension 2400 I bought a few years back. I upgraded the CPU and everything in it a year ago, and now it's time to get a new monitor. I want to order one from New Egg, but I don't know if there's a certain type/size that's going to fit my card's outlet or what. I have a GeForce 8500 GT card. If anyone could give me a good monitor recommendation for under $200 I would appreciate it. Thanks!
 
Personally, I like Panasonic, LG, HP, or Samsung when it comes to Television screens or monitors, and with that video card you could probably get a decent 19", or 20" for $200 or under.
