monitor with jaundice

now is not jaundice but had more with red, pink, violet
my computer place at the place with wood floor, so when someone have heavy footsteps than the computer 's monitor change color
Do you think it is dangerous for my monitor to time, and one detail, the pluger that plug into video card lack a pin, is it serious ???

please take a little more time with you post, the english makes little sense.

There are several things that cause the effect you are descibing, a fault connection IS one of them, try a new vga cable. Also the tube in the crt's can "go" after a while are cause the symptoms you are experiencing
