Monitor won't turn on...

It's been two days of constant computer problems. The latest is:

I set up our business computer (HP Z210 workstation) to restart in safe mode. Now the monitor won't recognize a signal of any kind (light stays amber).

I switched the SSD out with an HDD from an identical computer that has a fresh install of Win10 on it and it loaded right up, no problem. Monitor came on, windows logo. Put the SSD back in. Nope.

I took the SSD to another PC and ran some diagnostics on it and everything checks out as far as I can see.

I'm thinking if I could somehow disable the safeboot, maybe that's the problem? Like, safeboot isn't activating the display driver? I can access the drive using another computer...is there a way to go into the drive and edit the registry to turn off safeboot, or...something?

A few minutes ago I took out the CMOS battery and did a reset and now when i turn on the computer it beeps once. It wasn't beeping before. Still no monitor activity.
