Monitor?!?

Hey...I have my new desktop sitting here with no monitor. I also have a laptop, and was wondering if it's in anyway possible to connect my desktop to the laptop monitor. I don't want to buy a monitor but if I have to I will. I've never seen this done so I'm guessing it's not possible. Just thought I'd see if you guys knew anything..thanks!

if your laptop has a VGA port then yes you can

Just for clarification, you would need a VGA-IN connection. Or some other form of video-IN. I know most laptops have a VGA-OUT, not many with an IN connector, I don't think.
