Monitoring network usage

Hello.
I am setting up a home wireless network for multiple users in my house. I am worried about us going over our 60 gb limit per month from our service provider, and would like a way to monitor how much people are uploading/downloading.
Is there any way that this can be done? I don't need to be able to actively monitor (though it might be nice), but being able to go back and check computers if we do go over would be nice. Are there programs that can be used that will monitor?

What kind of router are you using? Have you checked to see if it (the router) can accomplish the monitoring that you are wanting?

Checked, doesn't appear that it can.
I don't mind it if it requires loading a program on each laptop, and I don't need to remotely check, I just need something so that if we go over our limit, I can go in and find out who it was.

get a decent router that supports QoS, then you can actually set bandwidth to each MAC address of each NIC manually. You can even shut off internet at certain times of the day if you want, like between 3 and 6 AM every morning for example.

Also, why do you have a bandwidth limit? That is horrible server if you ask me.
