Monitors and the System

Does monitors contribute to fps of games, all i know is that it contribute to quality of colors and resolution size, and ram does the same. I'm assuming cpu does too.

A monitor only displays the signal sent to it. But the resolution as well as other settings in the game itself have the greatest impact depending on the other hardwares installed like video, sound, and memory. Surprisingly the make and model cpu has less overall effect since games are generally designed to run on older systems with running at slower speeds. Video, memory, and the overall software environment have the most.

The refresh rate of your CRT monitor will determine the maximum FPS it can display. RAM and CPU both contribute to the fps, but none as much as the graphics card.

Except Vigor is not running a crt but lcd according to the information in the sig. The refresh rates generally used on lcds is between 60htz and 75htz. That's not as high as often needed on crts.
