recently i have blown the channel on my amp, this has led me to plug both my speakers into the right channel of the amp.
however the problem is that now, the whole left side of my stereo sound is missing.

now i am hoping someone has a solution, i am looking for anything including a mono plug in for WMP 10, real time audio filter software, or even a setting in Windows Xp [Please note i have tryed changing Sound options to "mono laptop speaker" confguration]

now the computer is a Pentium 3 {i know, i know} with some cheap as PCI soundcard but i am really looking for a simple software solution. i have looked literally everywhere.

On your amp, pan it to the working speaker.

That is the only thing you can do until you get a new system.

the amp is very old. panning only dulls out the side you move the balance away from

are you serious though... coz listening to songs like "welcome to the jungle" GN'R are terrible quality in half stereo :( lol

well i have no other suggestions, you can get a mono lead, but it won't sound very good.

Time for a new system :P

Seeing as your computer's soundcard still (apparently) works, why not get a stereo to mono converter (or make one) and plug into the working channel of the amp
