with the left over i'd say a water cooler too, and also maybe up to some 1866 or 2133mhz ram instead, also can look at some modular psus too with higher efficiency than that, but otherwise that looks great. and also many consider lian li cases to be the highest quality cases, but the haf x is supposed to be pure beast so that's up to you.

Sorry it took so long to respond, works been super busy..... Thanks for all the input... My friend put a list together for me to but I just wanted to see wha you guys thought of it....

What do you guys think? Will be using the AMD chip be a big downgrade from the i7?

If so ill go with the intel setup, no big deal just want to get a good set up.

the I7 will overclock way better than any AMD, and be more efficient per clock. BAsically, it will do more per cycle, and be able to do more cycles.

the i5 will do just as well in gaming (2500k) as the i7. and for amd the 970 overclocks just as high as the 980 for 10 less even with the 15 off. also the first hdd is a lappy one, and i'd say for less than that it would be better to get 2 of these and then you can put them in raid 0, it basically splits the info into like 512kb packs and sends one to the first drive and the other to the second, so it can read and write at close to 2x the speed of a single, not quite a ssd but close, otherwise you should look at one of the drive i will link or a samsung f3 1tb and then the ssd i will put below it.
