There are four RAM slots.

So 16/4 = 4. (You would need 4x 4GB sticks to fill it completely).

As for 4gb chips....well, let's figure it this way...just to give us a ball park

With Dell's servers, you can upgrade to 64gb ram (16x4gb) for $52,619. Simple division tells us that each 4gb module is almost $3,000.

Don't forget thats server memory, which uses a different type then desktop memory, and it most likely has ECC and is registered.
