More Builds (for Site)

scott dude, you really gotta lighten up :P seriously, this is other peoples opinions, and that is what you asked for, once you get them you get mad at them for the negative response... honestly IMO I oculd build a computer better than most of them for about 600$
 
I would build people systems for $100 flat labor plus the cost of the parts, and I did probably a few each month on the side at one point in time. I would go to their house, show them how to mount the mobo, install the processor, etc. Then load the OS, total time about 3 hours of labor which is like $33 per an hour at my $100 flat rate.

Also, there is no way you are getting a legit copy of Windows for that cheap. Even if it is from MS and not pirated I am sure you are breaking several OEM and System's builders EULAs and contracts.

People just don't get it. There is no money in building a computer, all the money comes from support. Any idiot can assemble parts in a box. Plus, people look at specs and they will see your specs and compare them to a computer in the paper at best buy or microcenter and see the same thing for half price.

I'm just taking a one-month break, plus it's for the best, I've got English 11, AP Biology, AP US History, College Algebra + Trig, all in my Sophomore (10) year. I'll see you all in a month! And to fatback, I'm going to decrease prices a WHOLE lot once I get out of the situation. I just like building the computers, and I'm willing to do it without making much money... I just need the money to start back up!

You better be able to support your product, or why would I want to buy from you? Also, your disclaimers on your high end system the one that costs $3900, says if you don't know how to take advantage of this high scale hardware it won't run like it is suppose to?

Your whole business model is wack, and I wouldn't recommend someone I didn't like to your site.

You need to scrap it all and start over. Look at maybe charging an extra $50 to $100 for labor on top of your builds. Also, do you stock these parts, or are you going to order them from Newegg, then build it then ship it? That puts the turn around like at like what 3 weeks to a month?

You may be better off with offering support and services in your local area, there is no money to be made in system building any more.

Somehow I doubt you can get Windows licenses for that cheap..

Shouldnt you be doing it yourself since you're such a pro builder?.. :rolleyes:
