Hello all,
I currently have a computer where my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU (CPU @ 100% when GPU is only @ 70%). I am looking into a processor upgrade, but to get a better processor (for my socket) I pretty much have to get a quad core (I have a dual core now).
My question is, even though the single thread preformance of my current CPU and the one I'm looking at buying are pretty similar, will having 2 extra cores get rid of that bottleneck?
Thanks!
