My computer now has 8gb of ddr3 ram (2 4gb sticks) and I want to add more ram from my older computer.
The older computer has a 2gb stick of ddr2 ram. I am aware that the ddr3 ram will act as ddr2 if I use both types at once.
If I use all the ram in my computer will it be better than just the 8gb of ddr3 alone?
Also, the voltage for the ddr3 is 1.5v and the ddr2 is 1.8v, is that a problem?
