More Gig need more power?

the bigger the internal hardrive space wise, does this mean that more power is used? say you have a 80gb int and a 160 int. is more power used with the bigger harddrive? thanks!!! :confused:
 
If you upgraded to a faster spinning drive, then yes, they'd require more power. However, I doubt you'd need to bother upgrading your power supply.
 
Yea, its all in the hdd speed, not space. You could have a 1TB hdd that runs at 5,400 rpm (i dont know of one, just an example) and it wouldnt drag alot of power at all, where as an 8 gig 10,000 rpm hdd would drag alot more power. Im not sure on the ratings of how much the different speeds pull.
