more than 1 firewall

is it ok to have more than 1 firewall or will they conflict with each other. If its not, would something like zonealarm be better than the windows firewall?

noo, they will most likely conflict, i use windows firewall with XP, and in 2000 i use ZoneAlarm, i think windows firewall is good...

Windows firewall isn't as good as ZoneAlarm IMO, but 2 firewalls = problems

yea im seeing that. do you think it would be better to use zone alarm and disable the windows firewall or are they probably equal in efficience

I disabled the windows firewall and was going to use zonealarm based on what research told me. However, after installing it, my computer froze within 5 min of restarting like 3 times in a row, so i uninstalled it. Its what had to make it freeze up b/c it usually doesnt do that. Seems like a good firewall, but i guess not for my system

No...you wont have any problem with a hardware and software running together. Its just 2 softwares that cause problems.
