I think they mean most demanding as in "Takes the most out of your pc". COD2 is pretty demanding though.p4h8ter said:Call of Duty 2 is a pretty popular game right now.
Modoman said:k, i went and bought fear today. maxed, with soft shadows on, runs buttery smooth @ 1280x960 (wtf with no 1280x1024?), though i dont have fraps so i cant attest to the fps... the settings test say my avg is 30-45fps, with 80max and 25 minimum so either that is remarkable, or quake 4 is quite a bit more demanding. i still say quake 4 is twice as demanding to max out. and im talking about 16xaa
ok i beat the game and it ran fine with maxed settings @ 1280x960 w/o vertical sync (dont need) and soft shadows off*. i can play it with soft shadows on, but it will slow with lots of action going on. i still say quake 4 is twice as demanding... fear ran great! awesome game btwdkny_stylez said:wait till you get further in the game![]()

Ya, a single 7800GTX 256 would be able to handle it well....now 2 7800gtx 512 would just be streching it, i dont even want to go into 4 7800gtx 512'sThe_Other_One said:I just tried FEAR at 1024x768, AA 4x(I beleive that's as high as it'll go, or maybe just in the demo) AF 16x, everything else max(GPU and CPU performace) Though the first stage, I probably averaged around 20-25 FPS. It'd jump up to 50 sometimes, and got as low as 12(when I got to the window where you could see across outside, before the chopper) Now, I also got a few bad lags, so I wouldn't game like this, but I feel a single GTX could handle it quite well
