Most Expensive Desktop

A friend of mine showed me a site the other day of a company called Voodoo. They make performance desktops.

We upgraded their desktop to full spec to see how much it costs and it was priced at $27000 (US).

Anyone heard of a more expensive one?

What point is there in making such PCs? And what are the specs on that Voodoo PC? I bet I could make the same thing cheaper....

4x 500gb Hard Drive (why?)

cant rmember gfx card and stuff.... but amaxing

Man, I'm sure we could really rack up the price on newegg... I mean, some mobo's can have up to 8 SATA drives. So 8 Raptor 150G in a RAID. DAMN that would fly. Or, 8 or those RAM disk thingies that use PC3200 RAM...though, I can't remember if their SATA or what. Then you have those workstation video cards...maybe you could really bump the price up

$5000 of that top price is taken up by the addition of a 46" samsung TFT
$1000 worth of after care
also software such as office 2003 pro.

without its an FX60, 4gig ram, 4X500gig sata, 2xX1900 in crossfire coming in at just under $20k and it could be built for fair chunk less, a shed load less in fact
