hey guys im telling right now im kind of a noob wit pc's so plz bare with me. i just reinstalled windows and everything is fine but my sound doesnt work. i figure i have to also update my mobo drivers but the problem is i dont know wat it is. Is there any way of findin out what my mobo is? plz be specific ty

download and run it, should tell you the name of your mainboard in there

go to www.asus.com to get the drivers for your sound

yes and i just downloaded the sound drivers from the site but i dont know where to extract the files? plz help me out

Just make a Asus folder in My Doc. unzip them to it and run the installer

go to your device manager (right click My Computer, click properties. go to hardware, then click device manager). look for the big yellow question mark that represents your uninstalled sound drivers. right click it, click install driver, click specify location, then find wherever you downloaded it to.

i did all u said cleric, and ty to other guy for helping me, but when i wanna install it the ok is clear untill i come 2 something to install, but i dont know wat to install out of all those things i extracted.

Go to the folder you unziped it to and find the setup file, it will be a exe. file
