The pci slots on my case doesnt match with my motherboard. The back end of the motherboard with the ps2, moniter, usb, firewire etc. matches with the case however the pci slots dont. Is there a problem with the motherboard or case???
Do you have an ATX, ATX mini, or AT motherboard? those different types\sizes of motherboards dont work with the different size cases. *Cases are made specifically for the type/size of the motherboard.
have you actually tried to put a card in, because if you are judging the alignment by your eyes, then it is difficult. The pci slots will not line up directly with the holes in the case since the cards are not perect straight lines.
oh yeah, sorry i figured we had already sorted out the form factors. But if he has managed to even screw the motherboard into his case that kind of suggests that the factors match, I dont think you can even get 2 screws to align between any of the formats.
Plus there mostly always atx these days (mini atx not withstading since trying to fit a mini atx into a atx case would be like a pea on a drum).
The Xaser III series are universally compatible with ATX Extend, ATX, and Micro-ATX. Since that's an ATX board, there's no reason at all that it shouldn't be lining up. Just try putting a card in, you might be surprised. In my computer the PCI and AGP slits look too far to the side, but the cards fit in just fine.
It fits. The mobo is definitely standard and while the xaser may be off a bit with construction, it's still within spec and it'll fit (wiggle around if you have to)
