Hi everyone,
I had a PC done a couple of months ago because I wanted a desktop PC for gaming. I got it, but never used it too much. After a couple of weeks, I started to notice some overheating, which caused some random shutdowns. The guy who built it decided to change the power supply but overheating continued.
It hasn't reached the point of shutting down again but I moved the PC to a place where it has better ventilation, also every time I use it I take off the lateral cases (I know I shouldn't and probably is wrong, but it actually keeps less heat).
Taking a closer look I realised in was in fact the motherboard which seem to heat a lot even if there isn't a particular process running and its the processor's fan the one that makes a lot of noise and not the power supply fan.
Also, I downloaded SpeedFan, it only recognized two fans (I have three, the processor's, the power supply's and the graphics card's). One works at 1000 rpm and the second one at 6000 rpm. In temperatures, it registers three different ones: 56C, 39C and -128C. I don't know if I should trust these numbers and unfortunately I can't really tell which is from where. Sorry.
I really don't know if there's something wrong with my PC, but it's not normal that the fans (processor and power supply) are always spinning at 'max speed' and making a lot of noise for 'no reason at all'.
As a last random fact, CPU is always above 50% I could even dare to say it's always above 60%, I don't know if this is normal or if this helps indicate something.
Below are my specs, thanks a lot in advance!
