Motherboard compatibility question

Well, Since my motherboard and/or PS have died after my cpu fan fell off and hit something inside, and I plan to replace both (need to anyway). The motherboard I have ordered is this one: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5235299&CatId=13 but I'm worried about something.

I went to the ASUS website to check if my AMD x2 6000+ 125w processor is compatible with it, but this is what confuses me. The motherboard will fit my processor, but only the 6000+ 89w version was on the compatible list and not the 125w. At the same time, it is also listed that the mb can take some 125w processors. Why was the 125w version not listed? Will my mb work with it?

Sorry for the long post guys, I just want this to all work out :(

It doesn't look like the board supports your processor, thats why you always double check everything before ordering. However, just because it's not listed, doesn't mean it won't work. Try and see.

I should have double checked :( But I think it may work. I'm hoping that since the board will work with the same exact model (Just at a lower wattage) and work with 125w chips, My 6000+ will work. If not, I'll have to put it my slow AMD Athlon x2 4050e@ 2.1Ghz. Maybe Asus just forgot to list it?

I have that processor and it worked in my motherboard when it wasn't listed on their site. Just try it and it should work. Don't lose hope.
