I just reformatted my desktop and now I am having trouble locating the correct drivers. It is a Foxconn NF4SK8AA-8KRS motherboard. Here is the problem:

When I go to install my internet from the provided disk, I get an error saying 'could not find PCI slot" so I've been on the internet trying to find the correct driver. The foxconn website has drivers listed for this mobo but I am unable to download anything from their website. All other driver sites I've been to give me the same file, updatemydrivers.exe. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks

I installed windows xp fyi

There are drivers for XP, I just downloaded them, they are in zip file and there is no setup file. You will have to update through device manager. Does the device manager actually see the lan port?

Where did you get them from John?
All I can see is this:

p4470145.gif

click on downlooad for the network driver. You'll get a zip file and the drivers are inside the windows XP folder.

It may be worth a shot...
From "ReadMe" file:
This nForce Win2K/XP driver package contains the below components:

Ethernet NRM driver version 4.73 (WHQL)
Network management tools version 4.73
SMBus driver version 4.45 (WHQL) with updated uninstaller files
Installer version 4.61
Win2K IDE driver version 5.21 (WHQL)
Win2K RAIDTOOL application version 5.21
WinXP IDE driver version 5.21 (WHQL)
WinXP RAIDTOOL application version 5.21

I've tried downloading the drivers from the foxconn site but a load bar comes up without ever actually starting the download. I've had it sitting on the site for several hours now with no results.

As far as it being xp compatible, it must because I have always run xp on it.

When I was downloading chipset driver last night, it was taking forever.
They must have either slow, or very busy server.
I have both drivers (chipset and LAN) still on my computer.
Let see, if I can upload them to some faster site.
Hold on there...
