Motherboard for E2160 ?

are u limited to only mATX mobos? most mATX are not good at OCing. what is your budget? the best micro mobo to OC with is the P5E-VM HDMI. it supports a very high fsb OC and has CPU and memory voltage controls. as for me, i am on a really tight budget and will be buying GA-73VM-S2 to OC an e2180 past 3ghz. that one only supports vcore adjustments

we all know the Gigabyte fans will be in here soon.....so i recomend a Msi p35 neo

i have one ....love it and have gone up to 2.8Ghz with my e6300,im sure it could go higher than that :)

Gigabyte fan here:D
I have a E2200 (very similar to the E2160) and a GA-P35-DS3l.

thank you for replies I know than Gigabyte is great OC mobo but I have only 2 choices here where I live now (no newegg here:() ASRock ConRoe1333-D667 and Intel G31 .

Holy crap i didnt notice that....i wonder what his temps are load?

Mt temps are actually low. I have real good cooling, but I am worried about the voltage myself. I don't run it like this all the time, I was just feeling lucky, so I thought I'd see how high it would go.

yeah you're just asking to kill your CPU

Ive done some runs at 1.7 V to bench, its pretty safe i have found, but ive only run my computer with 1.7 V for around half an hour.

Id go higher if i had the option to :D

an asus P5KC will get you to 3.6 GHz like me :D and its a cheap mobo
