The current motherboard I am looking at is..

I'll be running AMD 3800+ X2 Processor
Dual Channel 2x512 Corsair Value Select
250 GB Hitachi SATA II HDD
eVGA 6800GS nVIDIA gfx

My main concern for the mobo is that the powersupply might die out, which is one of the main points made in the reviews on newegg. I wanted to know if this was probable in my case, the fact that some people have complained about the 400W Power Supply in the NZXT case is a bit troubling as well.

4 x SATA 150 on the mobo, you have SATA 2 witch is compatible but will only run @ 1.5GBPS (i think, you might need a second opinion) !

Most system cases that come with PSU`s are usally crap anyway !, If i were you i would buy the PSU separately !.

Ghost, exactly right. kchi55, do yourself a big favor and get yourself another power supply that is reliable. Your 12v rail should be no less than 30A.

do you guys have any suggestions for a decent priced powersupply?

You will have a very nice system there, but for some reason people seem to cut corners with the PSU and the wise saying is, "The PSU is the backbone of the entire system."

That being said how much can you afford to spend on a PSU?

Well certainly the claim of 35A on the 12v rail is a very good thing. However, I don't know a thing about Aspire, but 249 reviews at NewEgg that gives it a 5 egg rating must hold some truth! Still I always recommend Enermax, Antec - there are others - for reliability and reputation. Again, if you purchased a PSU what is the maximum you can afford?
