I just bought a new MOBO ( A8N32 -SLI Deluxe ) this board is suppose to be able to run both video cards (7900GS ) at 16 x . When I set it up the computer will not boot up. If I change it back to 8x it works fine. Anyone ever had any issues with this problem before please help. Running AMD 4400 cpu on socket 939.

We have updated the drivers . The board came with the 1205 verision Bios and there is a newer one out now though.

So you have updated the drivers, card included, pluged in the molex power connector on the board, installed the SLI bridge and pluged in the video cards power connectors?

If anyone else has any Info on this problem please help. The only other thing I know to do is RMA my board and try another. My PSU is an enermax 600 watt sli so I don't think thats the problem.

If I change it back to 8x it works fine.

How are you changing it to 8X, I thought that board had 16 lanes on each PCIe 16X slot. My board has the Nforce 4 SLI and I have to move jumpers on the board for 8X in SLI mode or 16X in single card mode

Got pc up and running but still have one last question. I'm running a total of 3gigs of ram ( 2 x 1 ) and ( 2 x 512 ) both are dual channel and also are the corsair value ram. What order should I put the ram in? Please advise thanks.

The motherboard manual will usually specify this, where as if you where using one or 2 sticks sometimes you use certain slots, but with three, it may not matter.

there are usually 2 slots labeled for one dual channel and the other two labeled for the other dual channel. it is usually identified by color for which ones are in pairs
