Motherboard information question

I bought this mobo

and I tried to connect to the internet using my router that only supports a ethernet connection does this mobo have one? or is it just a lan thing and what can I do with that lan port anyways?

The ethernet port is the LAN port. It should work straight away.

Yes, you need a driver for it. The driver will be on the motherboard cd. Look in device manager for any exclamation points, which means drivers are needed before devices will work.
