Looking at the Asus P5KPL-CM Intel G31 which shows 1600 Mhz Pc-2-8500 ddr2 1066.I have tried to check with Asus website without any luck for compatible memory.I need to know which of following would be better the Corsair xms2 (4Gb) pc-2-6400 c5 ddr2 800> or OCZ ddr2 (2Gb) pc-2-8500 for this MoBo? I will be using Windows XP Pro 32 Bit which I think would limit the max memory used. Thanks

Yea, the OCZ memory should work just fine on your board. XP has a limit of 3.2GB or so on what can be read. If you could, I would go ahead and try to stretch for 4GB of the OCZ RAM, but if it is out of budget, go ahead and get the 4GB of Corsair. The OCZ RAM has higher clocks, but you would have more of the Corsair RAM which may make it more practical.

Although OCZ is a good brand, it is known that ASUS motherboards arent very stable with them. I would rather go with Corsair or G.Skill since they are more stable to run with, anyways its your choice what to get.
