I have the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813141009&Tpk=790i%20ultra%20xfx 790I Ultra XFX and when paired with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811103011 the XCLIO Windtunnel there are some little board things that dont connect the front LEDs right. It needs 3 pins for the LED (sorry if this does not sound very descriptive but i forgot exactly what there called but there the little connectors that are similar to the power button and reset sw button connectors) but the board only supports 2 pins for it..is there some sort of add-on i could get to be able to properly connect this to the board??? And anyone else that may have had this case..did you have troubles getting the temp reader to even power on in the front?? I'm quite sure all the connections are connected properly (besides the one i posted about above since its 3 pins heres an example of what im talking about this image shows two TWO pins connecters but i have one thats a 3 pin..I guess i should have researched that it would not fit the motherboard ...

)..hope i didn't get a faulty case..that would just be annoying!!

I came across that once. The connector actually had 3 connections but only had 2 wires, so what I had to do was take a knife and cut down the middle of the connector to separate the wires and then connect each one individually to the proper pin. Is this your case as well, where you have 3port connection but only 2 wires in the connection?

Yes theres not enough room according to the motherboard manual to do this..could you suggest a twink/fix ??

You haven't answered my question. Even though it is a 3 port connection is there only 2 wires in it?

oooh ill have to look when i get home...im at work right now but i think it only is 2...what if it is 3 though??? Lets just say this is a scenario and answer both questions if possible :)

If it has only 2 wires and the port in the middle has no wire then just take a knife and cut down the middle of the connector to split it into 2 and connect each one separately. What is the label that is on the side of this connector? All connections are usually 2pin except for the speaker which is usually 4pin.

I'm guessing it's the power LED, I had similar once, I just took the pins out of the casing and wrapped a little electrical tape around them and slotted them in.

in that case, All you need to do is either cut in the middle of the connector and file it down a little so it will fit ok Or take the pins from the connector and wrap a little tape around them and slot them in :)
