The motherboard in question:

The card I want to (eventually) use Crossfire with:

The card uses a PCI-E 3.0 x16 interface, but my board only provides one such slot for that. Will I still be able to Crossfire somehow, or should I return the board while I still can?

The description is wrong. If you look at the picture of the board it has 2 x16 slots.

I double checked the manual. You're correct. But you should still be able to crossfire. The performance loss will be minimal.

Yeah x8 on 3.0 is almost the same as 2.0 x16, and you lose almost nothing in games with that, and the performance will be killer anyways
