Motherboard + Power Supply

Hi All,

If a motherboard have a 4 pin cpu power connector, I would need to get a power supply with the 4 pin cpu power connector?

This Power Supply: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139048&cm_re=corsair_600w-_-17-139-048-_-Product

Does that mean this power supply will not work for the motherboard since it doesn't have the 4pin cpu power connector?

No, you can use it. The 8 pin cpu connector splits into 2 - 4pin connectors. Use 1 - 4 pin for the motherboard connector.
