Motherboard problems-biostar m7vkq version 1.1

I was using my biostar mb, and i was playing Halo pc one day last week and the mb just shut off. i checked out the mb and nothing seemed to be wrong with it.i started it back p after about 10 minutes and all it did was turn on the fan. i talked to some friends and they said it was most likely the processor.could it be that?

its not that easy to burn a processor these days by just playing a game
the bios automatically shuts the computer if it's overheated
